Note: These burial records were originally compiled in the early 1960s as part of a project by local historians and members of the Owasco Chapter D.A.R. Copies were obtained courtesy of the Cayuga County Historian’s Office in February 1998 and typed into a digital format by Bernie Corcoran. Any handwritten corrections or notes contained from the copy in the County Historian’s Office have been added to this transcription. Malcolm Goodelle (the former Archivist in the Cayuga County Historian’s Office) indicated that there are several additional headstones in this cemetery with information that can’t be read. Mr. Goodelle also cited that because many of these cemetery headstones were so very hard to read, the accuracy of many names and dates in this inventory may be questionable.
